Beef with sesame sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g beef fillet(s) in thin strips
  • 200 g carrot(s), coarsely grated
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp broth
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • leek, garlic and ginger, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Alexander’s favorite, super quick and delicious

Mix the meat and carrots with rice wine, soy sauce, and sugar and marinate briefly (optionally, add leek, garlic, and ginger as well). Fry the meat in the oil in batches for about 2 minutes each, then remove and set aside. Add the sesame seeds and broth to the wok or pan, return the meat, and season with soy sauce. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and serve immediately. Serve with rice.
