Baked sirloin chops with mushrooms and sour cream
We recommend using single-portion baking dishes. However, a large baking dish will also work! Wash the chops and dry them thoroughly with kitchen paper. Peel the onion and slice them into rings. Prepare three single-portion baking dishes, add a spoonful of oil to each one, and divide the onion rings between the dishes. Season the chops on both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika and place them in the baking dish. There’s no need to sear them beforehand; leave the bones in the meat! Divide the pork mince into three portions and shape them so that each fits snugly around each chop. Close the baking dishes with the matching lids and place them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 40 minutes. Meanwhile, slice the mushrooms. Once the baking time is up, remove the baking dishes from the oven, open the lids, spread the sour cream evenly over the meat, add the mushrooms, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven uncovered until the cheese has melted (about another 15 minutes). Serve with a simple, freshly baked baguette and a green salad; otherwise, it’ll be too heavy! It’s quick and delicious, even great for a party!
