Salad with figs and goat cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g salad (e.g. rocket and lamb’s lettuce)
  • 3 figs
  • 4 slices of goat cheese
  • 250 ml port wine
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary
  • n. B. Honey
  • salt and pepper
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

in port wine

Reduce the port wine with the rosemary, salt, and pepper. Quarter the figs, skin them, and simmer with the port wine for a few minutes. Add enough honey to coat the bottom of a pan and heat. When the honey bubbles, add the goat cheese slices and fry on both sides until golden brown. Make a vinaigrette with the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Arrange the salad on a plate with the figs and goat cheese and drizzle with the vinaigrette. Serve with beef steaks.
