Mango mozzarella

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large mango(s)
  • 2 packs of mozzarella (buffalo mozzarella)
  • chili powder
  • pepper
  • Sugar
  • n. B. Oil (lemon oil)
  • n. B. Balsamic vinegar bianco

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the mango and slice as wide as possible. Perhaps halve these slices so they’re quite large along the long side. Slice the mozzarella as well. Arrange the mozzarella and mango in a fan shape on a plate or serving platter, alternating them. Sprinkle with freshly ground chili (depending on your taste and desired spiciness), then sprinkle with a little sugar. Finally, drizzle with lemon oil and a little vinegar. Let the whole thing sit for 30-60 minutes (but you can also eat it right away). It tastes simply divine and makes a completely different addition to a barbecue or Italian evening.
