Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 piece(s) butter
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 400 g peas (frozen)
- 1 tsp flour
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts or iceberg lettuce
- 6 small spring onions
- salt and pepper
- some lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- some olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
or braised peas according to Jamie Oliver
Chop the lettuce hearts and spring onions. Heat the butter and a little olive oil in a pan and stir in the flour. Pour in the broth while stirring, then add the lettuce, spring onions, and peas. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for about 5 minutes. Then add a little lemon juice and season with salt and pepper again, if desired.
