Grandma’s Best Potato Salad

The perfect grandma’s best potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Peeled potatoes cooked
  • 40 g Chopped onion
  • 150 ml Chicken broth
  • 0,5 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3 Pc. Hard-Boiled eggs
  • 150 g Pickled cucumber
  • 200 g Meat sausage
  • 100 g Mayonnaise
  1. Cut the peeled and cooked potatoes into cubes and place in a bowl with the onions. Warm the chicken broth, vinegar, spices and mustard until everything is well mixed.
  2. Let the sauce cool and pour onto the potatoes. Add the boiled and cut eggs. Cut the pickled cucumbers and the meat sausage into slices or cubes and add them as well.
  3. Finally add 100 grams of mayonnaise and mix all ingredients well. Season to taste with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes if you like.
