Bee Sting Little Different

For covering:

  • 75 g Butter
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 2 Pc. Eggs
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 450 g Flour
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Flaked almonds
  • 150 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 40 ml Cream
  • 2 cl Vanilla flavor

For the filling:

  • 600 ml Cream
  • 80 g Sugar

Preparation of the soil:

  1. Gently heat the butter with the milk so that the butter melts. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Whisk the eggs with the sugar and set aside.
  2. Mix the flour, salt and baking powder into the sugar-egg mixture. Finally stir in the butter-milk mixture. Pour the dough into a springform pan and bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.

Preparation of the topping:

  1. Meanwhile, mash the almonds (alternatively, flaked almonds can be used). Melt the butter in a saucepan and dissolve the sugar in it. Add honey and cream and stir well. Finally add the vanilla aroma and the almonds, mix well and remove from the hob.

  1. Cut the finished cake base in half crosswise and coat the lower half with the cream. Place the other half of the cake on top and generously spread the almond topping over it. Chill for an hour before consumption.
