Murcian salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes, whole, peeled
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 can of tuna, preferably without oil (in its own juice)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Vinegar or lemon juice
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick, refreshing, easy

Remove the peeled tomatoes from the juice and cut into pieces. Slice the onion into rings. Season with salt, pepper, olive oil, and vinegar or lemon juice, stirring gently, or it will become mushy. Meanwhile, hard-boil the egg (approx. 6 minutes). Let it cool. Now add the tuna. Caution! Don’t stir it too often; the pieces should remain intact and not become unsightly. Once the egg has cooled, remove the shell, chop it up, and add it. Refrigerate. A refreshing salad. We always enjoy it, especially in the summer.
