Eggnog cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 80 g margarine or butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 100 g chocolate coating
  • 200 g almond(s), ground
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp rum
  • 1 jar eggnog
  • 500 ml cream
  • 2 tsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the margarine and sugar. Stir in the egg yolks. Grate the chocolate and stir in. Add the ground almonds, baking powder, rum, and advocaat and stir in. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and carefully fold in. Pour the mixture into a prepared springform pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 50 minutes. For the topping, whip the cream until almost stiff, add the sugar, and beat until stiff. Spread evenly over the cooled base and pipe a border. Finally, pour the advocaat over the cake.
