Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g flour
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 ½ packets of baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 400 ml buttermilk
  • 400 g whipped cream
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • n. B. Icing sugar for dusting
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine flour, 200g sugar, 150g brown sugar, vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and baking powder. Add eggs and buttermilk. Stir until smooth and pour the batter into a deep, greased baking sheet. Mix the remaining sugar and brown sugar and spread evenly over the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 30 minutes. Remove the warm cake from the oven and immediately spread the whipped cream evenly over the warm cake. Let the cake cool and dust lightly with powdered sugar, if desired.
