Cookies with chocolate and nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g nuts
  • 170 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 g spelt flour or wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 52 minutes

Melt the butter. Roughly chop the chocolate and nuts. Mix together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Add the egg, flour, chocolate, nuts, and baking soda and mix everything together. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Using a large spoon, scoop out the dough, form balls, and place them on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Flatten with your hand. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 12 minutes until light brown. Let cool.
