Herbal oil "Provence" with fresh herbs

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 stalk savory, French
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 stalk of basil
  • 3 stalks of thyme
  • 1 stalk of lavender
  • 1 leaf of sage
  • 1 sprig of oregano
  • 1 sprig of marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 14 days; Total time approx. 14 days 10 minutes

Harvest the herbs, including the flowers, dry. Do not wash them, at most gently shake off any dust if necessary. Place the herbs in a bottle of olive oil and let it stand in a dark place at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. Then strain through a fine sieve. Enjoy the oil with fresh white bread, or give it as a gift in a beautifully decorated little bottle, or drizzle it over a delicious tomato salad, or…
