Pear jam with nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pear(s)
  • ½ lemon(s), untreated
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 4 cl rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Peel and dice the pears. Finely chop the unwaxed lemon. Place in a saucepan. Add the cloves and simmer for 10 minutes. Finely chop the walnuts and add them with the preserving sugar. Simmer for another 10 minutes. At the end of the cooking time, add 4 cl of rum. Pour the hot jam into prepared jars and seal.
