Purzel's chocolate quark rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g cream cheese or low-fat quark
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 10 tbsp milk, lukewarm
  • 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • 1 pack of chocolate drops

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Mix the lukewarm milk with the salt and 1 teaspoon of sugar, add the yeast cube, and let the mixture stand. In the meantime, combine the flour, quark, sour cream, egg, butter, remaining sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Add the milk and yeast, and knead everything together. Finally, add the chocolate chips. Cover and let the dough rest for about 30 minutes. Then knead everything briefly again and divide into about 10 small rolls. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes.
