Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 15 g vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg(s) , (M)
  • 150 g butter
  • Chocolate / couverture, white
  • Chocolate / couverture (milk)
  • powdered sugar, sifted
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

makes about 30 pieces

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Cream the butter and egg until fluffy and then mix with the rest of the mixture. Knead thoroughly. Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan-assisted oven). Roll out the dough on a work surface to a thickness of about 0.5cm and cut out using various shapes. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10 minutes. Then remove from the oven and let cool. Glaze the cookies with chocolate or powdered sugar with lemon juice, if desired. Alternatively, you can stick them together with jam to make terrace cookies and then glaze them.
