Maultaschen pan with a twist

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 Maultasche(s) from the refrigerated section
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red or yellow
  • ½ onion(s), red
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the dumplings, peppers, and onions into strips. Fry the dumplings in a pan with a little hot oil. When they start to brown, add the peppers and onions. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. If needed, add a splash of water to the pan, which will then be used to steam the pan, similar to making gyoza. Once the peppers are cooked, they’re ready to serve. I always like to serve them with a garlic dip.
