Apple chutney with coconut

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • 250 g gelling sugar 2 : 1
  • 100 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 pinch(s) of curry
  • 2 limes, juice
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

goes very well with poultry, cheese and root vegetables

Peel and core the apples, and dice them. Combine them in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, pour into jars, and seal immediately.
