  • Paprika powder
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Season the chicken strips all over with salt, pepper, and paprika. Fry in oil in a pan over medium heat for about 8 minutes, turning frequently. Now add the tomatoes, ketchup, finely chopped chili, honey, Tabasco, and soy sauce to a bowl and stir to combine, crushing the tomatoes. Now fry the finely diced onion and garlic. Before they start to brown too much, deglaze with the prepared tomato mixture and continue simmering. Add the chicken strips and the cooking fat to the sauce. Cover the pan and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Serve with pasta, rice, or a few slices of baguette. Tip: Be careful with the chili. If you don’t like it too spicy, remove the seeds.
