Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 small shallots
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • 100 ml cream
  • 200 g blue cheese (St. Agur or Gorgonzola)
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauce for briefly fried meat, pasta or vegetables

Thinly slice the shallots. Bring the white wine to a boil with the shallots, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cream and simmer for a few minutes over medium heat. Add the St. Agur or Gorgonzola, let it melt, and season to taste. Tip: Garnish with walnuts or fresh herbs.
