Grape pickles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g grapes
  • 200 g sugar
  • 15 cl white wine vinegar
  • 20 cl white wine (Riesling)
  • 6 juniper berries

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

With cheese or game pate

Wash the grapes and cut them into small bunches. Divide the grapes into two 50 cl jars along with the juniper berries. Bring the vinegar, wine, and sugar to a boil and stir until the sugar dissolves. Pour the hot liquid into the jars and seal them tightly. The pickles can be stored for up to one year. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within two weeks.
