Spinach dumplings

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated counter, rolled out
  • 50 g cheese, grated, (Emmental)
  • 100 g cheese (herd’s cheese)
  • 100 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • some milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Fry the bacon and onions, add the leaf spinach to thaw, and season with pepper if desired. Dice the feta cheese and mix with the Emmental cheese. Once the leaf spinach mixture has cooled, add it to the cheese and mix. Roll out the puff pastry, divide it into 12 squares, and place a spoonful of filling on each square. Pinch the corners together to loosely seal the pockets. Brush with milk and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
