Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beans, green
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 500 g lamb
  • 1 bunch of savory
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Wash and trim the beans, removing the strings, and cut into approximately three-centimeter-long pieces. Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes. Cut the meat into cubes or thin slices. Layer the beans with the savory, meat, and potatoes in the watered Roman pot, lightly salting and peppering each layer. Then add enough water to just cover everything. Place the Roman pot in a cold oven and cook at 220°C for about 90 minutes.
