Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g minced meat
- 300 g cream cheese with herbs or
- 1 handful of fresh herbs, chopped
- salt and pepper
- 1 pack of frozen puff pastry
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Mix the minced meat with the cream cheese and, if using plain cream cheese, add the chopped herbs. Season with a little salt and pepper (the cream cheese is already seasoned). Place half of the puff pastry sheets on top of each other on a work surface and roll out. Spread half of the minced meat mixture on top and smooth it out with a knife. Roll up like a snail and cut into pieces about 2 cm wide. Place these snails on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C. Repeat with the other half of the puff pastry and the minced meat mixture. If using fan-assisted baking, both trays can of course be baked at the same time; in this case, reduce the temperature to 180°C.
