Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour, sifted
  • 300 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder, sifted
  • 1 pack of orange peel flavor (orange baking)
  • 1 cup of oil (250 ml each)
  • 1 cup Fanta, or other orange lemonade (250 ml each)
  • Powdered sugar, as needed
  • Lemon juice or water, as needed
  • possibly sprinkles, colorful, Smarties, food coloring

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

ideal for children’s birthdays – approx. 30 muffins

This batter is enough for about 30 muffins. Whisk the eggs with vanilla sugar, orange zest, sugar, oil, and Fanta until frothy. Gradually stir in the sifted flour and baking powder. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven) (200°C top and bottom heat). Fill each muffin cup with a tablespoon of the mixture and bake for 15-20 minutes. Let the muffins cool slightly, then mix a glaze from powdered sugar and lemon juice (or water). You can also mix in food coloring. Brush the mixture onto the muffins and sprinkle on sprinkles, Smarties, or similar.
