Ginger cauliflower with minced beef

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 2 cup(s) cauliflower florets, small
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp, leveled tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 pinches of hot paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp water
  • possibly lemon juice or lemon peel

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

warming dish, quickly prepared

Finely chop the ginger and add it to warm oil. Finely chop the onion and add it to the pan, then cook for a while with the lid on. Then add the ground beef. Once the ground beef is cooked through, add the cauliflower florets and 1-2 tablespoons of water, if needed. Let the whole thing simmer for about 5 minutes with the lid on. Then add the tomato paste and season with salt and hot paprika. You can spice it up by adding a little lemon juice and/or grated lemon zest. This dish tastes particularly good with potatoes, but rice or pasta also work well.
