Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), juice
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp Pul Biber
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper, black
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 kg chicken breast

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 4 hours

according to Turkish recipe

Puree the onion in a blender, strain the liquid through a sieve, and collect it in a bowl. Add the remaining marinade ingredients. Cut the meat into small pieces and score it lightly. Mix the meat with the marinade and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Then wrap the meat in baking paper and twist the ends to form a sausage and press the meat together. To be safe, wrap in cling film and freeze for 24 hours. Then let it thaw briefly and slice. Fry in a pan with butter. Serve with dürüm, salad, and your choice of sauce.
