Yufka semolina strudel with vanilla ice cream

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 Yufka dough sheet (1 sheet, approx. 40 x 40 cm)
  • 1 cup semolina pudding (semolina dessert) with red fruit compote or cherries
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

Simple quick dessert and super delicious

Spread the yufka dough sheet and spread it with the semolina dessert, leaving a 5-10 cm wide edge free. Then fold this edge in slightly on the left and right and spread the red fruit compote over the dough. Fold the edges in slightly on the left and right again and then roll it up lengthwise. Bake at 180°C (convection oven) for 25-30 minutes. After baking, cut the strudel in half and serve each half on a plate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. For a more attractive appearance, you can also sift a little powdered sugar over the strudel.
