Tarte flambée with sweet potatoes and smoked salmon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g sweet potatoes
  • 3 onions, red
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp herbal mixture
  • Sea salt
  • 1 pack of tarte flambée dough, approx. 270 g each
  • 100 g herb cream cheese
  • 100 g smoked salmon
  • chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash or peel the sweet potatoes and slice or cut into very fine strips. Peel and slice the onions. Place the sweet potato slices in a bowl and toss with the olive oil, herbs, and a pinch of salt. Place the tarte flambée batter on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread the cream cheese all the way to the edges. Then top the batter with the onions and sweet potato slices. Bake the tarte flambée according to the batter instructions. This is usually preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes. In the meantime, tear the salmon into bite-sized pieces. Remove the tarte flambée from the oven, arrange the salmon pieces on top, sprinkle with chili flakes, and serve.
