Apple, curd (or yogurt) and cornflakes dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp apple compote
  • 4 tbsp quark or yogurt
  • 4 tbsp cornflakes
  • e.g. powdered sugar
  • e.g. lemon juice or lime juice or grated peel thereof
  • e.g. pepper, white or very little chili powder
  • possibly Calvados (1 – 2 tsp)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Amazingly simple, very inexpensive, and excellent dessert. Perfect after a hearty main course!

Pour the apple compote into the bottom of cylindrical dessert glasses. Sprinkle the lightly crushed cornflakes on top. Sweeten the quark or yogurt slightly with sugar, if desired. Add 1-2 teaspoons of Calvados, if desired. Season with lemon or lime juice and/or grated lemon or lime zest, and divide among the dessert glasses. Decorate as desired.
