Turkey goulash with broccoli and carrots

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 300 g carrot(s)
  • 500 g turkey breast, whole
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 chili peppers, green
  • some oil
  • 350 ml chicken broth, or vegetable
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 9 minutes; Total time approx. 49 minutes

Wash the broccoli and divide it into florets. Peel the carrots and cut them into sticks. Cook the broccoli and carrots in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Wash the meat, pat dry, cut into bite-sized pieces, and toss in starch. Peel and dice the onions. Deseed and slice the chili. Brown the meat in hot oil. Add the vegetables, diced onion, and chili, and fry for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with broth and soy sauce. Cook for about 2 minutes. Serve hot. Serve with wild rice or mashed potatoes as a side dish.
