Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s) (or three small ones)
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Chop all ingredients into very small cubes (about 1 cm). Then season and add lemon juice and sunflower oil. This salad tastes great with any main course, but can also be eaten in pita bread with hummus (chickpea paste with tchina). Some Israelis even eat this salad for breakfast.
