Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300 g couscous
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp garlic paste
- 2 tbsp mild ajvar
- 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
- 1 m.-large onion(s), red
- Chives, fresh, as desired
- salt and pepper

quick and easy, ideal as a side dish for grilling
Combine the tomato paste, ajvar, and garlic paste with the broth. Pour the prepared broth over the couscous and stir. Let it stand for 10 minutes. In the meantime, clean and wash the bell peppers, peel the onions, and finely slice them all. Add them to the couscous. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the chives and finely chop them. Reserve some for garnish and stir the rest into the couscous. Serve on plates or in a bowl and sprinkle with chives.
