Tuna casserole with tomatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can of tuna, only in its own juice or water
  • 1 large tomato(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 70 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tsp, heaped broth, instant
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper
  • herbs, Italian

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

SiS/food combining

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Squeeze out the tuna (without water) and place it in a baking dish. Dice the onions and add them. Wash and dice the tomatoes and add them to the baking dish with the tuna. Mix to combine. Whisk the eggs, milk, broth, cream, and grated cheese together in a bowl. Season the liquid with herbs and pepper and pour the mixture over the tuna. Make sure the cheese is evenly distributed. Bake for 25 minutes. If you like, you can serve it with pasta or baguette, but then it would no longer be suitable for SiS/food combining.
