Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour (type 1050)
  • 500 g rye meal
  • 500 g wheat bran
  • 200 g beetroot
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 liter buttermilk
  • 3 cubes of yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

super tasty and easy

Heat the buttermilk and beetroot syrup in a saucepan. Dissolve the yeast in it. Then pour into a suitable bowl and mix in the remaining ingredients. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and immediately bake in an unheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat, no fan) for about 2 hours. It also tastes delicious warm.
