Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 250 g spaetzle
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 liter beef broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into chunks. Cook in beef broth for 20 minutes. Sauté the onions in plenty of butter. Fry the ham cubes, if desired. Boil the spaetzle (homemade ones are ideal). No additional seasoning is necessary. In a bowl, add the spaetzle first, then the potatoes with the broth, and then the onions with plenty of butter.
