Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g bacon, diced
  • 2 onions, finely diced
  • 1 m.-large cauliflower
  • Processed cheese (herbs), 3 wedges
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 1 cube of stock (poultry)
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 250 g pasta (spirelli)
  • e.g. Parmesan, freshly grated
  • Basil, some fresh leaves

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sauté the bacon and onions in heated oil until lightly browned. Deglaze with cream, add processed cheese wedges, and grated Gouda cheese. Add the stock cubes, then season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for a short time. Meanwhile, cook the trimmed cauliflower (including the green leaves) in salted water until slightly tender and add to the sauce. Sprinkle with fresh basil. Cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and add to the cauliflower. Heat everything through again. Serve hot. If you like, you can also sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the dish.
