It’s quick and easy to prepare, but high in calories!
Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. In the meantime, dice the onion and ham. Clean the bell peppers, rinse them in cold water, pat them dry, and also dice them. Wash the chives and parsley, shake them dry, and finely chop or cut them into thin rolls. Heat the margarine in a pan and fry the onion until translucent. Add the ham and sweat for about 5 minutes. Then add the bell peppers and fry for another 3 minutes. Pour in the cream and season with salt and pepper. Be careful with the salt; the ham can be quite salty! Bring the sauce to a boil once, then simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Then season to taste. Stir the chives and parsley into the sauce. Drain the pasta and let it drain briefly, then return it to the pot. Carefully fold the cheese into the pasta, then pour the sauce over it and mix it in gently, tossing in a little more cheese if desired. Serve immediately! A mixed salad goes well with this!
