Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g white cabbage
- 1 bell pepper(s), red or green
- 4 small carrots
- 1 onion(s)
- 50 g mountain cheese (alternatively Parmesan)
- 150 g pasta (linguine)
- 50 g butter
- pepper
- oregano
- Salt
- possibly water or vegetable broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Quarter the white cabbage, remove the stalk, and cut into thin strips. Dice the onion and bell pepper, and use a vegetable peeler to thinly slice the carrot. Heat the butter in a pan, add the onion, and sauté until translucent. Then add the white cabbage and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add the diced bell pepper and carrot strips. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. If there is too little liquid in the pan, add 2-3 tablespoons of water or vegetable stock. Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Season the vegetables with salt, pepper, and oregano, stir in the cooked pasta, and finally, stir in the grated cheese.
