Almond croissants

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g marzipan – raw material, chopped
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • possibly flour
  • 100 g almond(s) (flakes)
  • possibly chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

great with coffee or tea

Crumble the marzipan mixture into small pieces and knead it well with the sugar and egg whites. If the mixture is too soft, add a little flour. With floured hands, shape into small croissants (enough for about 25), roll them in the flaked almonds, and press them down firmly. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 20-25 minutes until light brown. If desired, cover the tops with chocolate coating.
