This recipe describes how to make grilled cheese. This gives you full control over the ingredients and additives. And it actually tastes better than from the plastic packaging. Basically, you can use any cheese you like. Start with a milder cheese, such as Gouda. Slice or grate the cheese as finely as possible. Add the paprika powder and soy sauce to taste. Divide the mixture into 100-gram portions and seal them in small bags. Alternatively, you can wrap the mixture in freezer bags and aluminum foil. It’s important that no water can penetrate the bag. And the mixture must be packed very tightly to ensure a beautifully shaped piece of cheese emerges. Place the finished packages in boiling water for one hour. Then, if you want it to look particularly attractive, press the still-hot, soft cheese mixture into a mold. Let the cheese cool slightly, and your homemade grilled cheese is ready. It won’t melt on the grill and will develop a nice crust. Of course, there are endless ways to vary this recipe. The only limits are your own taste.
