Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 kohlrabi with greens
- 2 carrots
- 500 g potatoes, mainly waxy
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 Mettenden (smoked Mettwurst)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 200 ml cream
- 1 liter of water
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 2 pinches of sugar
- pepper
- nutmeg
- possibly parsley
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Peel the kohlrabi, carrots, and potatoes and cut them into approximately 1 cm cubes. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large saucepan and briefly sauté the vegetables. Pour in the water and add the salt. Let everything simmer for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, dice the sausages. Add the sausages to the vegetables and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season the cream generously with pepper and nutmeg and fold in the flour. Chop the kohlrabi greens (or parsley). Then add the cream and kohlrabi greens, bring to a boil, and season again carefully. Suitable for freezing.
