Pasta with leeks and pears

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 large pears
  • 1 thick leek(s)
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 400g linguine
  • Sea salt and pepper from the mill
  • 4 tbsp cranberry compote

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Trim the leek and slice it lengthwise into thin strips. Peel, core, and wedge the pears. Melt the margarine and sauté the leek for a few minutes, then add the pears and cook briefly over low heat. Season generously with salt and pepper. Fold in the drained pasta and serve with cranberries. Serve with any salad.
