Cut the mettenden sausages into small pieces. Slice the onions into half rings. Heat a splash of oil in a high pan (with a lid). Fry the mettenden sausages until hot, add the onions and let them become translucent. Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into slices (approx. 3-5 mm). Then add them to the pan, season lightly with salt, pepper and paprika and fry briefly. Add the beans along with the liquid from the can and season generously with paprika and savory. Simmer over medium heat with the lid closed for approx. 30 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Stir gently occasionally. Once all the liquid has evaporated, taste and add more seasoning if necessary. Then turn the heat up and fry everything for another 5 minutes.
