simple, vegetarian variation possible, inexpensive

Thaw the buttered vegetables and then chop them using a hand blender or similar. Mix the vegetables, dumpling dough, and bacon or smoked tofu cubes. You can also use fewer bacon cubes; 125g is the standard package size. Form the mixture into flat discs and fry them on both sides in a pan with a little oil until the dumpling dough is cooked through. Be careful not to let the discs fall apart when turning them over for the first time. They should also not touch each other in the pan. Finally, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on the discs and turn them over again. Remove from the pan after a few seconds and serve. This quantity makes about 13 discs, ideal as a snack, for example, during your lunch break.
