Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 small chicken breast fillets
- 6 slices of bacon (breakfast bacon)
- 1 bottle of chili sauce
- 2 cups of cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes
Wrap each chicken breast fillet in a slice of bacon and place them side by side in a baking dish. Mix the chili sauce with the cream and pour over the fillet. Let it sit for at least 12 hours. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 1-1.5 hours. Remove the foil for the last half hour. Serve with fresh white bread and a salad. The chicken breast can just as easily be replaced with turkey schnitzel or pork fillet. This is an ideal party dish because it’s prepared the day before and then just needs to be baked.
