Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta, preferably penne or ribbon pasta
- 2 stalk(s) leeks
- 8 tbsp vinegar
- 8 tbsp oil, neutral
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp spice mix (Chinese)
- 4 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 25 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions; do not rinse. Thinly slice the leek, separating the slices to create thin rings. Drain the pasta and place it in a large bowl. Gradually add the remaining ingredients. Stir occasionally. Even if the salad isn’t tasty at first and seems too sweet, let it sit for an hour or two, then adjust the seasoning if necessary. Otherwise, let it sit overnight. Perfect for barbecues or family dinners.
