Garlic-Onion BBQ Bread

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 270 ml water, lukewarm
  • 80 g fried onions
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cl olive oil
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 pinch(s) black pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

First, combine all the dry ingredients—flour, fried onions, garlic cloves, dry yeast, and spices. Then add 270 ml of lukewarm water and knead until smooth. Add the olive oil while kneading. Cover and let the dough rise for one hour. After the resting time, divide the dough into 8-12 pieces and form small flatbreads. Lightly brush the flatbreads with olive oil on both sides. Grill over medium heat for about 5-10 minutes, turning frequently, until golden brown.
