Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 leaves of cauliflower, kohlrabi, savoy cabbage, white cabbage, Chinese cabbage
  • 2 large jacket potatoes
  • 8 slice(s) cucumber(s), (or 10)
  • 50 g cheese, grated hard cheese (variety according to your taste)
  • Sea salt, from the mill
  • Pepper, colorful from the mill
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

small, quick vegetable casserole with bratwurst, meatballs or schnitzel

Remove any yellowish parts from the cauliflower leaves. Peel the potatoes and cut lengthwise into slightly thick slices. Cut 8-10 slices, including the skin, from a cucumber. Grease a baking dish, add the cauliflower leaves and sprinkle with salt (kohlrabi, savoy cabbage, white cabbage, Chinese cabbage, etc. are also suitable). Now arrange potato and cucumber slices on the leaves in a fan shape. All leaves must be covered, otherwise they will be dry after baking and no longer suitable for consumption. Season generously with salt and pepper. Then sprinkle with grated cheese. Place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat) on the second rack from the bottom. Serve with anything pan-fried or, for vegetarians, with two fried eggs. It goes just as well with!
