Stuffed chicken fillets with cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 1 piece(s) of cheese (soft cheese), with pesto or herbs
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small onion(s), diced
  • 4 slices of ham
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the chicken fillets and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper, and a little paprika. Cut a small pocket into each fillet and fill each with 1/4 of the cheese (cut into small slices or cubes). Wrap each fillet in a slice of ham and place in an ovenproof dish. Whisk the cream with the sour cream, mustard, and diced onion and pour over the fillets. Place the dish in the oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 30 to 40 minutes. If serving this dish for lunch, it would be delicious with tagliatelle or rice. For a party dish, I recommend serving it with baguette.
