Herb bread, low in histamine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g spelt flour, type 630
  • 200 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • 1 tsp herbal salt or salt
  • 300 ml milk, fresh, or oat milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp herbs (8-herb mixture), frozen, or other
  • ½ tsp pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

without yeast, without wheat

Place the herbs on a plate and let them thaw for about 10 minutes. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine the milk, eggs, herbs, and seasoning in a separate measuring cup or similar container. Add to the flour and stir in with a wooden spoon. Alternatively, use a food processor to knead the dough. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for about 40 minutes. Use a fan oven at 170°C (350°F) or a conventional oven at 200°C (400°F).
